This Cancellation and Refund Policy outlines the cancellations and refund eligibility associated with the services provided by it’s novel (“it’s novel,” "Business," “company (Pty) ,” “I,” "me," or "my"). By purchasing or utilising my services (“service,” or “services”) or digital products (“digital products” or “products), through the it’s novel website www.itsnovelinks.com you ("Client," "you," or "your") agree to comply with the following terms and conditions of this Cancellation and Refund Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, you should not purchase and/or use my services, my digital products and/or subscribe to any subscriptions.
The scope of this policy
This Cancellation and Refund Policy applies to all editing services offered through the it’s novel website, www.itsnovelinks.com including, but not limited to, alpha reading, beta reading, chapter reviews, developmental editing, and character development. This Cancellation and Refund Policy applies to all digital products offered through the it’s novel website, www.itsnovelinks.com, including but not limited to, the email subscription freebie, writing templates/trackers and writing templates/guides. Regardless of the service tier or package selected or the digital products purchased, the terms outlined below govern all refund requests. This policy is not applicable to the Fiverr platform. Fiverr follows a separate policy to allow for a seamless and respectful transactions on their platform.
Cancellations of services

If you need to cancel your advanced booking (this means you booked an alpha read in advance, and not on the day), please cancel 48 hours before the scheduled date of your booking.

If you need to cancel your on-the-day booking (this means you booked an alpha read to begin on the day you booked), please cancel within 5 hours from when the booking was made.

For any cancellation, you can reschedule one time only, by contacting me for when you’d like for the alpha read to be rescheduled.

Your booking may face cancellation if you upload your manuscript later than the expressed time frame. However, in the event of any unforeseen circumstances you face, kindly contact me through the contact details on the contact page or the query form here.
Cancellations of digital products

By purchasing a digital product, you agree and accept that all sales are final. Once you have downloaded and accessed any purchased digital product, no refund requests will be accepted nor will any refunds be issued and processed.

For any free digital products provided, these are provided as what has been advertised and/or delivered to you. These cannot be refunded or exchanged.
Eligibility for refunds

You are eligible for a full refund for any cancellations made during the expressed time frames stated in the booking policies of the respective services offered and this Cancellation and Refund Policy.

You’re eligible for a full refund If I am unable to deliver a service offered due to unforeseen circumstances.

You are eligible for a full refund if you made any accidental duplicate purchases or someone bought digital products when you were unaware (either your account was hacked or someone bought under your name). However, in these circumstances, you agree to permanently agree to delete and destroy the duplicate copies and/or purchase you didn’t make of the digital products. You are not to have any unauthorised access of the digital products you didn’t purchase and/or received.
Non-refundable situations

You’re not eligible for a refund of any type if you are dissatisfied with stylistic choices after the service has been accepted, completed and delivered back to you.

You’re not eligible for a refund of any type if you’re unable to provide the required manuscript or materials within the agreed timeframe of the respective services offered, as outlined in the respective booking policies.

You’re not eligible for a refund of any type if you request a refund after the final edited document has been accepted, completed and delivered back to you.

You are not eligible for a refund of any type for cancellations made any later than the expressed times frames—outlined in the booking policies for the respective services and this Cancellation & Refund Policy—and during any service review period of the manuscript or after an review service.

You are not eligible for a refund of any type if you are dissatisfied with the digital products you received for free and/or purchased.

Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method. Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.

Termination

I reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to any services, deliverables and digital products at any time, without prior notice, if you violate the terms of this policy.

Upon termination, all licenses and rights granted to you under this Cancellation and Refund Policy will cease with immediate effect. You must cease all use of the deliverables and return or destroy any copies of the deliverables and/ or digital products in your possession immediately.
