your supportive services
Below are the supportive services I currently offer for you to enhance your writing.
alpha read
development-style feedback
Alpha reading examines the manuscript of writer for the first time, after the first draft is completed. Oftentimes, your manuscript undergoes an alpha read in its most unedited, rough version. An alpha read is recommended if you want a fresh set of eyes to evaluate your manuscript as soon as you've finished writing it.
beta read
development-style feedback
Beta reading examines the manuscript of writer. Oftentimes, your manuscript undergoes a beta read after you have edited and/or made changes a few times. A beta read is recommended if you want a fresh set of eyes to evaluate your manuscript after you find you're happy with what you've edited so far, and ready to receive reader feedback to spot anything you may have missed.
chapter review
development-style feedback
A chapter review can be seen as having a progress read for your manuscript. This is an option for writers who wish to see how their story reads for what they've written so far. A chapter review is recommended if you wish to see if your story is progressing as you've envisioned for it to thus far.
developmental edit
development feedback
A developmental edit evaluates the broader framework of your story, including aspects of your plot, characters, dialogue and overall flow. Oftentimes, it will occur in the early stages of your editing journey, after the first draft. Developmental editing is recommended for when you want to have a fresh set of eyes take a closer look at your manuscript to see if the big picture makes sense.
character development
development feedback
A character development evaluates the characters of your story, including aspects of their personality, traits, goals, and how they change over the course of the story. Oftentimes, it will occur in the early stages of your editing journey, possibly before you write, or whilst writing the first draft. A character development is recommended for when you want a fresh set of eyes to ascertain whether your character doesn't fall flat, is relatable and believable.
